Cole Aansen holds an M.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Kent in Canterbury and Paris and an M.Ed. in Children's Literature and Literacies from the University of Glasgow, Scotland.

She is currently working on a novel set in Ancient Greece and a collection of nonfiction essays. Her work has appeared in The Menteur.
